A luxury wilderness escape. An eco safari experience with meaning and purpose. A camping getaway under silent, faraway skies. A healing retreat where mindfulness meets adventure. Whatever thrill your wild heart desires, African Monarch Journeys offers it all, and more, in one majestic place… Namibia’s untapped Zambezi region.

Our signature tented lodge is Nambwa Tented Lodge. This luxury nest is set high above the ground, floating in treetops, so as not to interrupt the natural passage of migrating wildlife below. Kazile Island Lodge rests on a private island on the banks of the winding, unspoilt Kwando River. Lastly, there’s Nambwa Campsite, for those seeking slumber beneath the stars.

As the only set of private lodges within Namibia’s Bwabwata National Park, we’re able to offer something truly unique. We’re also one of very few who directly support the local community in ways that make a real difference, through our award-winning Sijwa Project.

As custodians of this land, we live and breathe these elements every single day. Come feel what it’s like to be part of our family.

Let your wild be.
