Ian Pollard

Ian Pollard serves as the Commercial and Enterprise Manager at African Parks Network since April 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the commercial management and development of Kafue National Park, in addition to prior roles as Field Operations Manager in various capacities focused on conservation and sustainable development. In April 2022, Ian began serving as Director at Adansonia Farm, a social enterprise aimed at community biotrade and forestry partnerships. Previous experience includes Section Ranger at Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, Reserve Manager at Dopotta Game Reserve, and Managing Director at Strider Expeditions. Ian holds an MBA from Oxford Brookes University, along with degrees in Environmental Management and Nature Conservation from respective institutions.
