African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI)
Mahdi DAHANE is an experienced agronomist currently working at the African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) since October 2020. Previous roles include Coordinator of Development at Hydro Mechal for a brief period in 2020, and completion of a final study project at Ecole Nationale d'Agriculture de Meknès focused on deficit irrigation of vegetable crops in the Fès-Meknès region. From 2007 to July 2020, Mahdi participated in agricultural management, overseeing cultural operations and maintenance of agricultural equipment. A series of internships have provided experience in soil and plant analysis, grain conditioning, and technical itinerary management of various crops. Mahdi holds a degree in agronomy from Ecole Nationale d'Agriculture de Meknès and a Baccalauréat in Physical and Chemical Sciences.
African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI)
The African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) is a newly created not-for-profit research and education organization. APNI currently has four offices. The headquarters is located at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Benguérir, Morocco. Additional offices are located in Settat, Morocco (APNI North Africa Office), Nairobi, Kenya (APNI East and Southern Africa Office), and Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire (APNI West Africa Office).
