Jarim Omogi

Jarim Omogi is a highly experienced professional in public health and epidemiology, currently serving as a Project Coordinator at the African Population and Health Research Center since June 2024, focusing on research, training, and curriculum development. Prior to this role, Jarim held positions at Amref International University as the Head of Community Health Department and Lecturer from September 2021 to June 2024, overseeing teaching, research, grant writing, and administrative duties. Additional experience includes a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator role at the University of Washington, where Jarim coordinated an international mid fellowship meeting and maintained assessment data systems. Jarim has also contributed to significant research initiatives at Kenya Medical Research Institute and AMREF Africa, with a strong foundation in epidemiology supported by advanced degrees from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Moi University, and Kenyatta University.
