Marinda Dippenaar

Marinda is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA). She completed her articles at PwC in 2006 after which she joined the PwC Corporate Finance Valuations team. During her time in the CF Valuation team she was involved in the valuation of large unlisted companies across various sectors as well as intangible asset valuations under IAS 38.

Marinda joined Alexander Forbes in 2008 as a Corporate Finance Manager. In the eight-year period at Alexander Forbes she was responsible for managing the debt post the delisting and leveraging of the group in 2007 as well as group treasury and capital management. She also involved in the disposal of certain non-core subsidiaries which included large multi-national and cross border transactions. In 2014 she was responsible for the full restructure of the balance sheet of Alexander Forbes group and the listing of the Alexander Forbes Group in the JSE, which resulted in the successful exit of the private equity consortium of shareholders. During that time she also served on the Insurance industry sub-committee of the FSB for Group Supervision. In 2014 her role was expanded to also include Investor Relations following the listing of Alexander Forbes. She was also a member of the Alexander Forbes Junior Board.

Marinda joined ARC in 2017 as Deal Executive. Her role includes investment execution and portfolio management primarily in ARC Financial Services. She serves on the boards of a number of investee companies. She also assists the CIO with structuring and capital management across the UBI/ ARC group.
