Magalie Anderson is a seasoned ICT leader with extensive experience in managing IT operations across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of ICT at the African Union since October 2022, Magalie provides strategic and technical leadership for ICT operations. Previously, Magalie held the position of IT Manager for Ericsson in West Africa, where accountability included overseeing regional IT infrastructure and services. Additional roles include Information Technology Supervisor at Newcrest Mining, IT Manager at Total E&P, and Business Process and Systems Consultant at MXenergy. Earlier in the career, Magalie held positions such as Web Applications Lead and CRM Senior Developer at Halliburton, as well as Business Analyst/Consultant at Idea Integration and Solutions Developer at Avanade. Magalie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology from a prior institution.
