Mr. NOUHOU THIAM is a Senior International Multilateralism Executive with over 15 years of experience in multilateralism, international conferences management, governance, policy planning, resource mobilization, and project management, including 8 years at the managerial level. Currently serving as the Head of the African Union Policy Organs Division and Chairman of the AU Staff Union, Mr. Thiam has also held the position of Secretary General (Ag) at the African Union, where responsibilities included strategy development, oversight of high-level summits, and policy implementation. Academic achievements include four specialized master's degrees in International Law, International Relations, Finance, and Multilateralism and Sustainable Development, complemented by professional training in diplomacy and governance. Previous roles include positions at the Embassy of Mauritania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mauritania.
