Sadiki Lotha Laiser is an accomplished Programme Coordinator for the African Union, overseeing the Intra ACP Global Climate Change Alliance Plus Programme in Africa since June 2024. With extensive experience in environmental management and biodiversity conservation, Sadiki has previously held significant roles, including Director at Chemonics International in Tanzania and Chief of Party for the USAID-supported Heshimu Bahari project. Other notable positions include leading projects for the African Development Bank Group and WWF, as well as serving as a Regional Coordinator for the Nile Basin Initiative. Sadiki holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from UNESCO-IHE and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture, supplemented by various certifications in wetlands conservation and nature-based solutions.
