Alister Mungai has over a decade of experience in high-level administrative and advocacy roles, currently serving as Senior Executive Support in the CEO's Office at the African Wildlife Foundation since July 2010. Previously, Alister held positions as Executive Assistant to the President and Advocacy Officer, focusing on promoting a clear policy agenda for wildlife conservation in Africa. Alister’s earlier experience includes roles as Program Officer and Project Officer at the International Gorilla Conservation Programme, as well as Regional Programme Assistant at IPPF Africa Region. Alister commenced a career in administration and programs with a position as Administrative & Programs Assistant. Alister holds a Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Moi University.
