Saad Uakkas, MD, MPH, is currently a Senior Associate at SouthBridge A&I, focusing on strategic policy planning and health strategy reform in Morocco. Saad also serves as the Executive Chair of the African Youth Initiative on Climate Change, uniting youth climate actors across Africa, and holds the Regional Coordinator position for North Africa within the same organization. As an Ambassador for One Young World, Saad works toward accelerating social impact, while previously contributing as a member of the Youth Advisory Board at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre. Saad's consultancy work at Search for Common Ground supported capacity development for youth organizations in the MENA region. Past experiences include leadership roles at the UNLEASH Innovation Lab and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health, alongside significant contributions to global health advocacy through various international organizations. Saad earned an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and holds an MD from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Rabat.
