Mudrakat Alabi-Macfoy, MCIArb, currently serves as the Head of Sustainability & ESG Unit at the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) since January 2023, and is an active member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals. With a strong background in environmental and sustainability initiatives, Mudrakat has held various leadership roles, including Partnerships Lead at Africa's Mental Health Matters and Project Officer at the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency. Previous positions include Chief Operating Officer and Head of Charity/Sustainability at Yahshud, Development Consultant at Spurt!, and Head of Programs/Executive Secretary at The Tahara Collective. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Environmental Law from the University of Dundee, a Bar Vocational Course from the Nigerian Law School, and a certification in ESG Specialization from the Corporate Finance Institute. Mudrakat's recent training includes completion of a course on Digitalization for Sustainability & Climate Action from the United Nations System Staff College.
