Abubakar Saleh Usman has had multiple work experiences in a variety of roles and industries. Abubakar started their career as an IT assistant at the United States International University - Africa in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Data Analyst at Jenzabar before moving on to become a Global Alumni Ambassador at Aston University. During their time at Aston University, Abubakar also took on the role of an International Student Ambassador. In 2020, they had a brief experience as a Technology Experience at Bright Network. Currently, Abubakar is working as a Product Support Engineer at Africa's Talking, starting in May 2021.

Abubakar Saleh Usman pursued a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Aston University from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Computer Technology from United States International University - Africa, completing their studies from 2015 to 2018. Abubakar also earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from freeCodeCamp during the period of 2016 to 2017. Abubakar Saleh Usman's education journey began with their High School Diploma from Nigerian Tulip International College, which they obtained from 2009 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Abubakar Saleh Usman has obtained various certifications. Some of these certifications include Coding Challenge from Code Institute, Terminal, Bash & VIM Essentials from Amigoscode, Foundations of Project Management from Coursera, and Technical Support Fundamentals from Coursera. Abubakar Saleh Usman also completed a Technology Internship Experience with Bright Network and received training in Auditing and Evaluating Behaviour Change from the National Union of Students (UK).
