Riad Halwani

Riad Halwani is an experienced professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the BSS/VAS Operations Manager at Africell Group since May 2023. Prior to this role, Riad held various positions at Africell The Gambia from February 2006 to April 2023, including Business Support Unit Senior Manager and Software Engineer, contributing to system and database administration. Riad also acted as the Interim Billing Manager at Africell Uganda from September 2018 to April 2019, overseeing daily operations during a transition to a new billing system. Earlier experience includes work as a VAS Developer and Network Administrator at NGEN Telecom. Riad holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the Lebanese American University, completed in 2005, and graduated from Rawdah High School in 1999.
