Akin Oyedotun

Akin Oyedotun is the Co-Founder and Head of Technology at Afrimash. Akin has over two decades of experience in technology and payments. Akin was previously the Senior Product Architect & Manager at CARS45, where they were responsible for setting the long-term vision and strategy for the company's products. Akin also led and participated in planning meetings and provided advice and guidance on direction of products. Akin has also worked as an Engineering Manager and Senior Payments Specialist at The GIG Group.

Akin Oyedotun has a MSc. in Information Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria, a BSc (Hons) in Computing & Its Practice from The Open University, and a DNIIT (Hons) Professional Diploma in Software Engineering from the National Institute of Information Technology. Akin also has certifications from LinkedIn in Kubernetes: Microservices, How to Be an Effective Remote Manager, and Mastering Self-Leadership. Additionally, they have a Codility Silver Award in The OLX Group challenge and certifications from ISO - International Organization for Standardization in Lead Implementor- ISO 27001, Oracle in SCWCD, Microsoft in MCITS, and Oracle in SCJP.
