Catherine Peila

Catherine (Kate) Peila is an accomplished professional in cultural administration, arts development, and financial consulting with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Merchandising and Special Projects Business Consultant for Afro Latin Jazz Alliance since 2016, Peila also holds the role of NonProfit Financial and Development Consultant at Stonewall Community Development Corporation. As a lecturer at the Academy of Music - Karol Szymanowskiego, Peila educates future cultural producers and arts administrators. Previous leadership positions include Director of Programs and Artist Services at JCAL, Producer for International Programs at Joffrey Ballet School, and Executive/Artistic Director at Dance New Amsterdam. Peila's career began with significant contributions to the Silesian Dance Theater in Poland and has demonstrated a commitment to community engagement and diversity in the arts. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The London School of Economics, a Master's in Cultural Policy and Arts Administration from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Performance Art/Arts Production from Western Washington University.
