Michael Akwa-Mensah

Michael Akwa-Mensah has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Michael started their career in 2007 as an Assistant Lab & Dispensary Technician at Medland Hospital. Michael then worked as a Sales Executive at Ghanaian Londoners Network from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Transmed Ghana Ltd. as a Merchandiser.

Akwa-Mensah then transitioned to Accents Infrastructure Ltd. where they held multiple roles. Michael started as a Commercial Sales professional from 2016 to 2018, where they identified and developed new business opportunities. Michael then became a Project Manager from 2018 to 2021, overseeing construction processes and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

In 2021, Akwa-Mensah joined Elephant Healthcare as a Sales Executive, identifying new business opportunities and establishing relationships with key decision makers. Michael later became a Sales Coordinator in 2022, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and leveraging relationships with prospective clients.

In 2023, Akwa-Mensah joined Vallum Associates as a Recruitment Consultant - Insurance. Their role involved providing talent acquisition services across various industries and building personal relationships with clients and candidates.

Finally, in 2023, Akwa-Mensah took the role of Consultant at Strategic & Agile, where they are currently employed.

Michael Akwa-Mensah earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Ghana, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. In 2019, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Project Management from the Institute of Project Management Practitioners. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they obtained a WASSCE Certificate in General Science from Tema Secondary School.
