Jussi-Pekka Penttinen

Jussi-Pekka Penttinen is a seasoned expert in reliability analysis and risk assessment with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Senior Adviser at AFRY since October 2020, Jussi-Pekka specializes in the research, development, and application of reliability analysis and risk assessment methodologies. Previously, as the Chief Architect at Ramentor Oy from January 2006 to September 2020, Jussi-Pekka developed the Event Logic Modeling and Analysis Software (ELMAS), which focuses on quantitative risk assessment and analysis of system reliability. Jussi-Pekka has also contributed to the field as a Doctoral Researcher at Tampere University of Technology, focusing on RAMS design methods for particle accelerators, and has held various roles in research and software design throughout the career. Jussi-Pekka holds a D.Sc. in Reliability Analysis from Tampere University and an M.Sc. in Software Science and Discrete Mathematics from Tampere University of Technology.
