Michel Stämdal

Michel Stämdal has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Michel is currently serving as the Head of IT Operation Global Services at AFRY since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Iver Sverige as the Information Technology Infrastructure Manager from August 2019 to May 2022. Before that, they held various roles at IT Gården, including Infrastructure Manager, Manager Technical Operations, Teamleader & Dispatcher Technical Operations, and IT Technician from December 2012 to August 2019. Michel'searlier experience includes working for the Swedish Armed Forces as an EDPO (Electronic Data Processing Officer) and Swedish Army Officer from September 2007 to March 2012.

Michel Stämdal has a diverse education history. Michel started by attending the Swedish Armed Forces Military Academy from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a degree in Military and Strategic Leadership and became a Second Lieutenant. In 2007-2008, they attended the Armed Forces Command and Control Regiment, focusing on IT.

In terms of certifications, Michel obtained several from WatchGuard Technologies, including WatchGuard Technical Certification in Firewall Policies and Fireware Essentials in 2015. In 2014, they obtained the Watchguard Certified System Professional certification for Fireware XTM v11.7 VPN. Michel also holds certifications such as Qualified KEMP Engineer Certificate, Watchguard Certified System Professional for Fireware XTM v11.6 VPN, and Watchguard Certified System Professional for Fireware XTM v11.7 Basics. Additionally, Michel obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification in 2012, with earlier Cisco certifications earned in 2011: Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
