Miro Laitinen

Miro Laitinen is a Sustainability Consultant at AFRY since April 2021, specializing in identifying and assessing potential risks and non-compliances through international EHS and ESG due diligence in various sectors including energy, circular economy, paper industry, and real estate. Responsibilities also include undertaking regulatory research, environmental impact assessments, and permitting studies, particularly related to hydrogen, battery energy storage systems, and legislative developments. Previously, Miro served as a Legal Assistant at Dentons from September 2019 to March 2021, providing support for EHS and ESG due diligence projects through document review and data management. Miro holds a Master of Laws in Energy and Environmental Law from the University of Aberdeen and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Glasgow, as well as a Vocational Qualification in Business and Administration from Savon ammattiopisto.
