Thale Jacobsen Rye

Thale Jacobsen Rye is a Sustainability Specialist at AFRY since January 2023, bringing experience in the Circular Economy & Resources team as a Student Assistant at Gate 21 from August 2021 to June 2022, where involvement included the Circular Builders project. Participation in VINTERAKADEMI 2022, organized by CONCITO, Realdania, and BloxHub, highlights engagement in interdisciplinary studies on sustainable futures. Prior experience includes a role as a Sales Employee at Brilleland AS from July 2015 to December 2021, and leadership positions as Treasurer and Social Secretary for the Scandinavian Society at Queen Mary University of London from June 2018 to June 2020. Thale holds an MSc in Sustainable Cities from Aalborg University, and a BSc in Environmental Science with Business Management from Queen Mary University of London. Educational background includes high school diplomas from Nøtterøy Videregående Skole and The International School of Kuala Lumpur.
