Eirik Wallem Fossan

Eirik Wallem Fossan has extensive experience in multimedia journalism and management, currently serving as the Head of Photography, Video, and Editorial Development at Aftenposten since April 2007. In this role, Eirik oversees a team responsible for visual journalism and strategy across various platforms. Prior positions include Head of Video and Web Graphics and Multimedia Journalist at Aftenposten, as well as contract work as a Flash Developer. Eirik has also worked as a multimedia journalist for NEWS.com.au, contributing to the development of its multimedia platform, and held project management roles at BitTalk AS and EMU AS. Eirik holds an MA in Communications from RMIT University and a BA in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen, alongside other academic credentials in religion and political science.
