Daniel Mainé

Dan Main is an 8th Grade Science Teacher at Garnet Valley School District since October 2023 and serves as the Assistant Camp Director at Upper Main Line Y since May 2023. Previously, Dan held the position of 5th Grade Teacher at Avon Grove School District from August 2022 to October 2023 and was the Head Girls’ Cross Country Coach at Avon Grove High School during the same period. Dan also worked as a 6th Grade Science Teacher at West Chester Area School District and served as a Student Teacher in two different roles at Lower Merion School District and Radnor Middle School. Earlier experiences include positions as a Unit Leader and Camp Counselor at Upper Main Line Y, along with various roles at Eastern University, including Lead Student Ambassador and Resident Assistant. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education from Eastern University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at Immaculata University, expected to complete in December 2025.
