Niels Smit

Niels Smit has extensive experience in project management and responsibility in the waste management sector, serving as Hoofd bedrijfsbureau at Afvalzorg since March 2017. In addition, Niels has held the position of accountmanager/projectleider at NV Afvalzorg Holding since June 1998, and previously worked as projectleider nazorg/grondstromen at Grondbank Rotterdam from October 1996 to June 1998. Niels began a career in project leadership with Milieuonderzoeksbureau (MOB) from October 1994 to September 1996. Educationally, Niels obtained a degree in HLO, Analytische chemie from Inholland University of Applied Sciences between 1989 and 1992.
