Katia Pinto possesses extensive experience in commercial and customer excellence roles across various sectors, including education and telecommunications. At Afya since 2019, Katia serves as the Diretora Comercial de Graduação, successfully managing the recruitment of 4,800 medical student vacancies across 34 campuses. Prior to Afya, Katia held the position of Gerente Comercial at Estácio, overseeing sales targets and team management across nine units. Katia's earlier roles include Customer Excellence Manager at Estante Virtual and Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação, where strategies for customer retention and relationship management were developed. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Management and Competitive Intelligence from ESPM, and another MBA in Strategic Management from Ibmec, alongside a bachelor's degree in Tourism from Anhanguera Educacional.
