Mirella B Gomiero

Mirella B Gomiero currently serves as the VP de Gente, Gestão & Serviços at Afya since August 2023, overseeing areas such as People, Management, Shared Services, and Technology. Prior to this role, Mirella held multiple executive positions at GPA from June 2016 to August 2023, including Diretora Executiva RH & Sustentabilidade, where responsibility included leading initiatives in Culture, Diversity, Development, and ESG agendas. Mirella also managed Shared Services for the Group Pão de Açúcar and its HR services for over 140,000 employees. Earlier experience includes a managerial role in Human Resources at Alcoa from 2005 to June 2016, contributing to various HR functions and participating in a global project in the U.S. Mirella began the professional journey as a Trainee at Ambev and holds an MBA in People Management from FGV and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
