Maina Gathinjaga Gĩokõ

Maina Gathinjaga Gĩokõ is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Head of Professional Development Capacity Center at The Aga Khan Academies since July 2012. In this role, Maina directs education project implementation, collaborating with various ministries and universities. Previous positions include Project Director and Vice Principal for Professional Development and Outreach, where Maina designed and facilitated continuous professional learning programs and managed significant grant-funded projects. Further experience includes multiple teaching roles at the Aga Khan Academy and Aga Khan University, with a focus on science and technology education, alongside various leadership and committee roles.
