Aliya Kerawala (MTeach, MA-Ed, BAS)

Aliya Kerawala is an accomplished instructional designer and educator with extensive experience in curriculum development and educational strategies. Currently serving as an Instructional Designer & Content Development leader for the Aga Khan Development Network, Aliya has designed and facilitated curricula for over 1,000 secondary students and trained a nationwide team of educators in effective discussion strategies. Prior roles include content developer and educator at The Institute of Ismaili Studies, where Aliya collaborated with global stakeholders to implement curricula, and certified educator at Arbor Montessori School, focusing on innovative instructional methods. Early career experience includes a sales specialist role at Nordstrom, emphasizing customer satisfaction and sales performance. Aliya holds a Master's of Teaching and a Master's of Arts in Education from UCL, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Pre-Med and Psychology from Seattle University.
