Kate Swift (she/her)

Kate Swift is an experienced professional in resource mobilization and community engagement, currently serving as Senior Manager of Resource Mobilization at the Aga Khan Foundation Canada since January 2023. Previously, Kate held various roles, including Manager of Supporter Engagement at the Aga Khan Foundation Canada and Development Officer at Lutherwood from April 2020 to January 2023. Kate has a background in community partnership development as the Community Engagement Manager at Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region, and as Opportunities Development Coordinator there. Additionally, Kate served as Festival Manager for the IRL Festival, overseeing programming and logistics for events while securing sponsorships. Early in the career, Kate contributed as Curator, Author, and Editor for a local blog and worked in hospitality across several esteemed establishments. Kate holds a Certificate in Community Engagement, Leadership and Development from The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University and studied at Conestoga College from 1995 to 1997.
