Shagufta Hassan

Shagufta Hassan is the current VP of Finance and CFO at Aga Khan University. Prior to their current role, they served as the Director of Finance at the Institute of Business Administration from July 2000 to January 2003. Before that, they were a Faculty Lecturer at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from July 1993 to June 2000. Her first job out of college was at PwC where they worked as a Manager from March 1986 to June 1993. In this role, they were responsible for special audits, forensic audits, and internal control review of manufacturing, trading, non-profit making institutions, banks, and educational institutions.

Shagufta Hassan has completed an Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School in the field of management. Shagufta is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan in the field of accounting and finance.
