Kenneth Buys

Kenneth Buys has a wealth of experience in the energy industry, with their most recent role being the Senior Director of Operations and Engineering Services at the American Gas Association since May 2018. Prior to this, they held various managerial positions at Xcel Energy, including Manager of Gas Control and Manager of Gas Supply. Before joining Xcel Energy in 2002, Kenneth worked as the Manager of Gas Control at Western Gas Resources. Kenneth also served as an Account Manager at PG&E Energy Trading and held various roles at NIPSCO Industries for over 15 years.

Kenneth Buys began their education journey by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Letters and Engineering at Calvin University from 1975 to 1979. Following this, they furthered their studies and completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan between 1979 and 1981. To enhance their professional expertise, Kenneth decided to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Indiana University from 1994 to 1997. Overall, Kenneth holds an educational background that includes a Master's degree and two Bachelor's degrees in various fields of study.
