Joe Kelly

Joe Kelly is the Director of Loan Servicing at AgAmerica Lending, joining the company in April 2020. He attended the University of Tampa, where he graduated summa cum laude with a dual major in accounting and in management information systems. It was here Joe also earned his MBA with honors. He is a certified public accountant in Florida and has a certificate in data processing.

Joe has been in the financial services industry since 1985. Prior to joining AgAmerica Lending he spent all of his professional career with Walter Industries and its successor companies. Over the years, he moved through various positions of increasing responsibility including subsidiary Controller, subsidiary CFO, and subsidiary Vice President of Operations.

Throughout his variety of roles, Joe managed information technology, accounting, treasury, credit, underwriting, loss mitigation, and servicing departments. As part of these duties, Joe was involved with multiple servicing system conversions. He also has extensive experience with asset and mortgage backed securitizations.

As Loan Servicing Director at AgAmerica Lending, Joe oversees the servicing department to ensure all loans are serviced in a timely and legally compliant manner. This includes, but is not limited to, boarding loans in the servicing system, monitoring financial statements, invoicing, and counterparty reporting. His vast professional experience equips him to provide guidance for the servicing staff as well as enhance the policies and procedures currently in place. His main initiatives include optimization and compliance with established standards and regulations. Joe provides routine productivity reports and departmental trend analyses to guide continued improvement.
