Egemen Aydın

Egemen Aydın is a Senior Scientific Advisor at AGAT Laboratories since August 2018, providing scientific support to nationwide operations and sales. Previously, Egemen served as an Associate Professor at İstanbul Üniversitesi and Istanbul Technical University, focusing on the effects of pesticides and antibiotics on algal metabolism, as well as leading research on micropollutants in wastewater treatment. Egemen's postdoctoral experience includes research at the University of Oklahoma, developing workflows for metabolomics related to hydrocarbon biodegradation, and extensive work on the quantitative analysis of emerging pollutants during tenure at Istanbul Technical University. Egemen holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Istanbul Technical University, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
