Doug Edgeton

Doug Edgeton has had an extensive career in the field of biotechnology and healthcare administration. Doug started as the Sr Associate Dean for Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1995. Doug then joined Wake Forest University Health Sciences as the Executive VP in 2000. In 2007, they became the President of Piedmont Triad Research Park and also took on the role of Executive Vice President, Administration at Wake Forest Baptist Health. In 2012, they left both positions and became the Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Development at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. Doug then went on to become the President and CEO of the same organization in September 2014.

Doug Edgeton's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from The University of Alabama.
