Thu Ly

Lily (Thu) Ly is an accomplished Senior Development Scientist at AGC Biologics since August 2018, specializing in planning, executing, and managing DOE bench-scale bioreactor experiments to optimize cell culture processes and provide technical support during large-scale manufacturing. Prior to this role, Lily served as a Development Scientist and Ph.D. Candidate/Research Assistant at the Voiland School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering at Washington State University from 2014 to 2018, where Lily earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering. Additionally, Lily contributed as a Metabolic Engineering Research Assistant at Matrix Genetics in 2015, focusing on the development of transgenic cyanobacterial strains for astaxanthin production. Lily holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from Washington State University, completed in 2014.
