Heron Schelp

Heron Schelp is an experienced professional with a diverse background in internal audit and consulting. Currently serving as a Board of Governors Member for the IIA Atlanta Chapter since April 2019, Heron has held various roles at AGCO Corporation since June 2013, including Chief Audit Executive and Director of Internal Audit for Global IT and North America. Prior to this, Heron worked at PwC for a decade, where positions included Senior Manager in São Paulo, Brazil, and Manager in Atlanta, GA, and Porto Alegre, Brazil. Additionally, Heron served as a Professor of Information Systems at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul from February 2008 to December 2009. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor in Business Administration, both obtained from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
