Matt Bates has a strong background in risk management, with experience in various roles at different companies. From 2019 to the present, they have been working at AgCountry Farm Credit Services as the Vice President of Data Strategy. In this role, they lead and coaches team members in analyzing, prioritizing, monitoring, and reporting key risks. Matt also collaborates with business unit leaders to analyze risks, develop risk metrics and strategies, and establish monitoring and reporting processes.

Matt Bates obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration & Mathematics from Wilmington College (OH) in 2012. Matt later pursued further education, completing a Leadership Certificate program at Wharton Executive Education from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, during the same period, they also earned a Diploma from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, specializing in the Graduate School of Banking.
