Gavin MacGregor

Gavin Macgregor is an experienced leader currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Age Scotland since May 2023 and as Chief Operating Officer & Deputy CEO at SRUC since January 2017, where responsibilities include operational strategy execution and leadership of a major transformation programme. Previously, Gavin held various senior roles within SRUC, including Chief of Staff and Director of Professional Services, guiding initiatives in HR, organisational development, and digital services. Prior experience also includes leadership positions at North Ayrshire Council and East Lothian Council, where achievements encompassed corporate transformation and awards for workplace excellence. Gavin's educational background includes an MA (Hons) in Management from the University of Glasgow, a PGCert in Organisational Development & Change from Heriot-Watt University, and a PGDip in Human Resource Management from Edinburgh Napier University.
