AJ (Al) Baysek has extensive work experience spanning over four decades. AJ (Al) currently serves as the Executive Principal and Chief Strategy Officer at AG&E Structural Engenuity (AG&E-SE), a prominent structural engineering consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, AJ oversees the development and implementation of corporate initiatives and targeted strategies in alignment with the firm's long-term direction and growth. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Engineering at ATMI Precast, where they played a crucial role in the company's growth and success as a leading precast builder in the Midwest. AJ also founded BAYSEK Consulting, where they provided strategic services and solutions to the architectural and engineering industry. AJ (Al) has worked with reputable firms such as Meinhardt Group and Halcrow Yolles, serving in advisory and principal roles, respectively. Additionally, AJ has held executive positions at Campbell & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc., A Epstein & Sons International, Inc., and Gunnin-Campbell Consulting Engineers, Inc. AJ (Al) began their career as a Senior Project Engineer at Page Southerland Page, Inc. and also gained experience as a Project Engineer at Ellisor & Tanner, Inc. Al Baysek (AJ) has a strong educational background in architectural and structural engineering. AJ (Al) first attended Kilgore College from 1969 to 1971, where they obtained an associate's degree in engineering. AJ (Al) then went on to The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from 1972 to 1974. Al continued their education at the same institution and completed their studies with a Master's degree in Architectural Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Engineering, from 1974 to 1975.
