Joao Especial is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software quality assurance and management, currently serving as a Software Quality Assurance Tester at Ocidental Grupo since February 1992, where responsibilities include validating in-house developed software and managing the certification process. Joao has also held the position of Senior Software Tester at Ageas Seguros since February 2007. Previous roles encompass diverse functions in the insurance sector, including Senior Marketing Manager at Trabalho Vida Companhia de Seguros, where Joao developed marketing strategies and sales teams, and Life Insurance Agent at Alico Life International. Earlier career highlights include working as a Holiday Camps Monitor and Field Manager for ACM Portugal, overseeing youth programs, alongside experience as a Technician in various capacities, including insurance sales. Joao holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from IADE and a High School diploma in Humanities from Liceu Camões.
