Julien Darpoux

Julien Darpoux has extensive experience in development finance and project management. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Campus du Développement at Agence Française de Développement (AFD) since March 2008, Julien Darpoux leads training initiatives aimed at fostering inclusive and sustainable development. Previous roles include Director of the AFD agency in Maputo, where Julien Darpoux contributed to over 4,000 projects worldwide, and Deputy Director for AFD in Cambodia and Laos, focusing on non-sovereign loans and infrastructure development. Earlier in Julien Darpoux's career, important positions included working as a project engineer at Bolloré, and as a corporate affairs engineer at Sofiprotéol, where Julien Darpoux specialized in agricultural investment analysis. Julien Darpoux holds a Master of Business Administration from IAE Paris - Sorbonne Business School and an engineering degree from Institut national agronomique Paris-Grignon.
