Heykel Houas has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. From 2011 to the present, they have been working at ANFR as an Expert in spectrum engineering. In this role, they are responsible for sharing studies on spectrum needs for mobile service, conducting studies on machine-type communication infrastructures, and simulating safety zones around ElectroMagnetic Field (EMF) sources.
Prior to ANFR, they worked at ENSEA as an Associate Professor, starting in 2005. Their responsibilities included lecturing on multi-users digital communications concepts, multi-user resources planification, and project management. Heykel also worked as an Associate Professor at Engineering Schools and Universities, where they lectured on topics such as array processing, digital multi-users communications, and signal processing.
Heykel Houas has also worked at Sagem DS as a Research Engineer in Image Processing, where they analyzed and tested image processing algorithms for infrared array sensors. Heykel provided support to the software team for embedded systems design.
Before Sagem DS, they worked at Thales Communications as a Software Engineer in Signal Processing Embedded Systems. And prior to that, they had an internship at Inmarsat, where they conducted a Ka-Band Multimedia System Study.
Overall, Heykel Houas has a solid background in spectrum engineering, communications concepts, signal processing, and image processing.
Heykel Houas earned their PhD in Télècommunications from 2005 to 2009 at the Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they obtained an Engineering & MSc degree in Signal et communications from Telecom Bretagne.
