Sergio Garrido

Sergio Garrido is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental sustainability and climate change initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager for Spanish Cooperation since December 2019, Sergio has been involved in significant projects such as ARAUCLIMA and EUROCLIMA, focusing on mitigating the impacts of climate change in Latin America. A former Country Director at COPADE Foundation, Sergio has also contributed to various organizations including the International Fund for Agricultural Development, WWF, and IUCN, holding roles that encompass project management, program evaluation, and governance consulting. Sergio holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Management of Protected Areas and Eco-regional Development, underscoring a strong academic foundation in environmental sciences and international cooperation.
