Samantha Masigan has held a variety of roles in the social media space since 2015. Samantha began their career at IPG Mediabrands as a Creative Artist & Copywriter, where they conceptualized and managed online presence and distinct brand voice, as well as supervised all creative digital content for the no. 1 peanut snack brand in the country (Nagaraya). This role saw their grow the brand's Facebook fanbase by 400%, and launch a viral web series that garnered over 1.8M views within 6 months. Samantha also developed and curated daily content (both art and copy) for various agency clientele, crafted multiple social media strategies and rebranding campaigns across all possible channels, and designed artworks and wrote effective copy, scripts, and articles for multiple branded content.
In 2018, Samantha joined Pursuit as Associate Director, Social Media, Digital Producer, Social Media Manager, and Social Media Coordinator. Samantha also held the role of Social Media Head at the ASEAN Youth Engagement Summit in the same year.
Samantha Masigan completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Arts from De La Salle University in 2015. Prior to that, they attended St. Paul College of Pasig and graduated with a High School degree in 2011. Additionally, Samantha has obtained an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM in February 2021.
