Caroline Hermans is a seasoned professional in environmental economics and sustainability, currently serving as a Knowledge Officer and Senior Consultant at Agendi since September 2022. Previously, Caroline held the position of Chief of Staff for Carbon Tracker North America, where contributions were made to shape the strategic direction of the organization during its expansion in the United States from 2016 to 2019. Caroline also served as the Head of Environmental Stewardship at the Clinton Global Initiative from 2010 to 2015, collaborating with businesses on critical social and environmental challenges. Earlier roles include serving as an Ecological Economist for the Environmental CrossRoads Initiative at The City University of New York and the U.S. Geological Survey, where research focused on integrating economic and social factors into natural science. Caroline possesses a PhD in Environment & Natural Resources from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
