Norman Cruz

Norman Cruz has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Norman is currently working at Agenus as the Associate Director of Global Quality Validation & Engineering. In this role, they lead and motivates a validation team, coordinates with staff and managers, and takes responsibility for decision-making. Prior to their current position, Norman worked at NSF International - Health Sciences as a Principal Consultant, where they led quality management system teams for CSV, risk management, and process validation. Norman also has experience as the Principal of OCS, Inc., where they managed general administration functions, and as the President of PVG, Inc., where they were in charge of general administration and environmental health and safety. Norman also has previous experience at Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Computer Validation Analyst and Quality Engineer, where they oversaw computer systems validation and performed regulatory audits.

Norman Cruz has a diverse education background. Norman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, specializing in Software Engineering, from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. This program is accredited by ABET. Norman also completed a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Audit from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, which is accredited by NIBS.

Norman further pursued higher education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Industrial Management from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico - Metropolitan Campus. This program is also accredited by NIBS. Norman later completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, San German Campus. This program holds accreditation from IACBE.

In addition to their academic achievements, Norman Cruz has acquired several certifications. Norman obtained OSHA's General Industry Safety & Health (30-hours) Training Certification from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA in April 2004. Norman is also a Registered Professional Engineer, certified by the National Society of Professional Engineers since August 2003 and by the Departamento de Estado de Puerto Rico since June 2003.
