David Whitesell

David C. Whitesell is currently the Assistant Vice President and Interim Head of Information Technology at pekin Insurance, where they lead significant IT initiatives to transform business processes within the insurance sector. Previously, they served as a Claim Manager at State Auto Insurance, where they managed teams to enhance productivity through technology solutions. With a strong foundation in risk management and project management, David has worked with various organizations, including Cigna and Towers Perrin, providing strategic advisory services tailored to claims and risk management. David holds an MBA in Business Management and a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Almeda University. Additionally, they are active in community service as the President of the Rotary Club and serve on the Citrus County Advisory Board for the Salvation Army.
