Tony Karrer has a diverse work experience, spanning over several industries and roles. ★ Tony founded TechEmpower in 1997 and served as the Founder & CEO/Consulting CTO, specializing in delivering scalable and reliable mobile, web, software, and database systems. ★ Tony also co-founded the LA CTO Forum in 2001, where they organized monthly meetings for 300+ CTOs. In 2008, they founded Aggregage, a business media company focused on creating online communities and curating content on specific topics. In 2019, they became the CTO of Element3 Health, a company that combines social, mental, and physical health solutions. ★ Tony also held the CTO position at GIGXR, a company specializing in immersive learning, from 2019 to 2022. Tony Karrer's other experiences include working as the CTO of The Host Co., a retail solution for short-term rental spaces, and Preem, a smart cycling platform. ★ Tony co-founded MentorNight, a peer exchange platform for startup founders and mentors, and founded the Startup Specialist Network, an invite-only group of executives who work with startups. Additionally, they served as a board member for the Freedom Writers Foundation, which promotes diversity and education in the classroom.

Tony Karrer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Loyola Marymount University, which lasted from 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Southern California, from 1987 to 1993.
