Tom Bissett

Tom Bissett is an experienced Engineering and Project Manager with a background in the construction and operation of aggregate manufacturing plants and carbon capture technology. Currently serving as the Project Mechanical Lead at Aggregate Industries UK since March 2023, Tom previously held the position of National Engineering and Projects Manager at O.C.O Technology, where responsibilities included engineering management and international project development. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Lytag Ltd, overseeing a £12M factory construction, and Project Manager at Lafarge Cement UK, with oversight of a significant cement factory's capital expenditure. Tom's extensive career began at Hanson Aggregates UK, where a variety of roles culminated in strategic engineering management across multiple locations. Tom holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
