Elena Samokhina's work experience includes roles in recruitment and HR management. Elena worked at Agile Fuel from September 2016 to November 2018, starting as an IT Recruiter/HR Manager and later becoming a Lead Recruiter and Head of Recruitment. Elena'sresponsibilities involved sourcing and interviewing candidates, maintaining recruitment-related documents, creating job descriptions, coordinating new employee orientation, and organizing team building events. Elena also managed corporate English classes and ensured a pleasant working environment. Prior to that, Elena worked as a Freelance IT Recruiter from August 2015 to September 2016, and as a Recruiter at HRQ United Ukraine from March 2014 to February 2016. At HRQ United Ukraine, they handled full cycle recruitment processes, maintained a database, conducted business correspondence, and promoted the company on social networks. Elena also achieved success in closing positions for international 5-star hotels and implementing a marketing strategy to enhance the company brand and attract more candidates.
Elena Samokhina has a bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (KNUTE). Elena obtained this degree between the years 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they also hold a master's degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the same university. Elena completed their master's degree program between 2008 and 2014.

Since the early 2000s, our two founders have worked for tech startups, giant software companies, and consulting firms in the Bay Area and beyond, and eventually founded a few companies of our own as well. One of them, a B2B enterprise SaaS company, has become a major player in its industry. The biggest key to our success in both building the core product and scaling the technical implementations was the ability, and the processes we have created, to hire the right people quickly and effectively as part of our remote office in Ukraine, and integrate them into our team while retaining and growing our culture—all within the typical constraints of being a bootstrapped, and later venture-funded, startup. These people have been our biggest investment, our greatest value, and our main competitive advantage. We recruit and support high-quality dedicated engineering teams that work out of our offices in Ukraine and are tailored specifically to each client’s technical requirements, culture, and communication needs. We are stack-agnostic, because we focus on finding the right people for the specific needs, however commonplace or esoteric they may be.
