Thanasis Tsitos

Thanasis Tsitos is a Robotics Software Engineer at Agile Robots AG since March 2022, where notable achievements include the sole development of a ROS driver for the Diana7 robot arm, orchestration of drivers for the AgileHand and YU robot arm, and leading a team for developing a DDS driver for the YU robot arm. Previous experience as a Research Assistant at NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" from March 2019 to February 2022 involved creating a visual-based teleoperation system for a UR3 manipulator and contributing to a human-robot interaction game using Deep Reinforcement Learning, alongside publishing four scientific papers. Earlier, Thanasis served as a private tutor from September 2013 to June 2017, preparing students for national qualification exams in Mathematics, Physics, and Programming. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos," and a combined Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
